Do you want to eat this pineapple cake? The pineapple cake is a famous dessert in Taiwan and it also is a traditional cake. The main ingredients are flour, cream, sugar , eggs , winter- melon and pineapple sauce . The outside of pineapple cake is crispy and the inside is sweet golden-colored pineapple jam. The key to a good pineapple cake is the crust. If the crust is too oily or too dry, the tea you serve with it ends up  being simply a means to wash the bad taste out of your mouth, instead of highlighting  and complimenting the flavor of the tea.
Pineapple in the Southern Fujian Language sounds as “thriving has arrived”. Pineapple also has the meaning of fortunate and triumphant. Many visitors would like to buy it for a gift and it is also a popular present well wrapped in a gift box to give friends and relatives. Pineapple cake has become the most favored stuff in the Mid-Autumn Festival. According to statistics, the sales of pineapple cakes have increased recently because Taiwan has opened up for many countries to visit such as China. Pineapple cake seems to be very famous nowadays.
According to investigation, most of the oversea students in NCU campus like pineapple cake and few of them dislike it. The reason for dislike is pineapple cake is unhealthy food because it is oily. Some of the student also answer that it is a good product to take a present for their friends and relatives.
